Thomas Perkins - Lower Sapey
« on: Thursday 26 January 12 21:48 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to tack down any info on Thomas Perkins (wife Elizabeth) who had a son John born 1810 in Avenbury, Gloucestershire but moved to Lower Sapey.

Any help gratefully received

Rob

Assuming that it is your tree that is on ancestry.

There were 2 Thomas and Elizabeth in the Bromyard district in 1841 - one couple in Norton, Bromyard and the other in Acton Beachamp.

It would seem to me that your couple are the one in Norton, Bromyard - they appear to have had a dau. Clara who was with them 1841 and this ties in with Sapey baptisms.

I think your couple both died in the 1840's as I can't find any trace in 1851 although the other couple are still around, he being born Acton Beauchamp.

I note your couple had 4 children baptised in Avenbury, and 7 in Sapey Pritchard.

I would think your Thomas Perkins is the one bp.31/1/1780 Sapey Pritchard, son of Thomas and Ann (as well as 2 other siblings).

Many thanks Annette. Yes your right that is my tree on ancestry.
I think I was finding it difficult to see the wood from the trees and it needs a fresh pair of eyes to help out.
Thanks
