I am trying to find information on a R.J. Coates who lived at 2662 Avebury Avenue, Victoria, B.C. in 1964.  He was the son of Adam Coates (died 1964) and Jane Milligan Shaw (died 1975), who resided at 1176 Palmer Road, Victoria.  Adam and Jane emigrated to Canada in 1912 from Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.  All I have on R.J. is what was on his parents death registrations.  Adam and Jane also had a daughter Marjorie, but have no other info on her.  R.J. and Marjorie would have been born in Canada.
