PR marriage lookup please
« on: Friday 27 January 12 15:22 GMT (UK) »
I would very much appreciate a marriage lookup for Richard Pellow to a Jane.  Their first known child was Richard Rowe Pellow bap 1815 in Lezant.  I've tried the freeREG site without success and I have failed to find them in census.
Many thanks
Sonia

A Richard Pellow married a Jane Rowe (seems to tie in with the son's middle name!) at Bradstone in Devon March 29th 1814  :)

PS Bradstone is just over the county border from Lezant in Cornwall

Richard Rowe Pellow request in January

In January 27th, a Sonia Gardener asked for information on a Richard Rowe Pellow born 1815. He is my ancestor, if you’d like to get in touch.

I’ve just joined this forum. My mother was a Pellow. Her great grandfather was Richard Rowe Pellow of Lezant born 1815. His son James was her grandfather and her father another Richard, I’m intrigued to know what your connection to the Pellow’s is?

Good morning Edwina
I was researching the Pellow/Pellar family for a lady who has since passed away but I did keep the details on file.  Susan or Susannah Pellar married William Venner (a mason) 19 January 1842 St Andrew Plymouth & resided in Lezant.  Susan was the daughter of Richard Pellow & Jane Rowe hence the connection & my query at the time.  I do not have any further info on the Pellow family as I was concentrating on the direct Venner line.
Good luck with your research & stay safe
Sonia
