Birth Lookup In Co Down or Co Derry Please! COMPLETE!

Hello,

I would love to order a birth certificate of my ancestor HELENA CLAUDINE FORSYTHE, but some reason i can't to seem to find the birth, this is what info i know:

On the 1901 Census Helena Claudine Forsythe b.c1900 Co. Down living with her Mother and Father.

On the 1911 Census Lena Forsythe b.1900 Co. Derry living with her sister Violet and with family friends.

I've looked everywhere for Helena or Lena, but unless my eyes are deceiving me.
Please can someone out there have a look up for me!

PS: parents of Helena(Lena) are John Forythe and Gertrude Flanagan(Tiffin)

I'm not seeing a good match for Helena's birth but there is a likely match for her sister's birth in Magherafelt registration district, which covers the townland of Coltrim where the family are shown in 1901. I suspect the Co. Down place of birth shown in 1911 may be a mistake, since Lena and Violet are Boarders in the household. Maybe narrowing down the search to that district for earlier Forsythe birth registrations might locate a possibility for Helena..

Were her parents newly married?

I find it a bit odd that a couple - male aged 33/43 (unclear on image) and female aged 41 would only have a 1yr old daughter living with them and no other children

it looks like the marriage of John and Gertrude was in Belfast in 1898

Thanks so much on answering my message, Oh yes i found the sister Violets birth, she also married in 1920 to David White Kerr.

Gertrude my 2xgrandmother was married in 1883 Waterford to John Michael Flanagan, and had three children:

Jessie Lowry Vigurs Flanagan b.1884 Belfast.
William Frederick Flanagan b.1886 Waterford.
George Barrett Flanagan b.1893 Belfast

Gertrude(widow) remarried in 1898 Donegall Square,Belfast to John Forsythe and had two more children two girls Helena and Violet, its a shame Helena birth can't be found.

Its strange also my aunt Jessie Flanagan birth in 1924 Co Down, and that also can't be found, i have her exact hospital and ward, and i'm wondering if the birth registers in N.Ireland may not be completed.

Some births were not registered by the parents, and others can be hidden due to errors or omissions in the National index books - which were created manually at the time by GRO head office.

Some births were registered before the parents had finalized the name, so would appear as male or female - this doesn't seem to be the case with Helena though as I dont see any Female registrations in the area around the right time.

The FamilySearch BMD Index only covers records for Northern Ireland up to the end of 1921.
