John Williams completed

Hi,
I'm trying to fing birth cert for John Williams (I know; needles, haystack etc).
1851 census says age 9, born Talgarth, Brecs.
Father William Williams, farm lab. Mother Esther.
Census also shows Margaret same age as John.
Problem is Talgarth doesn't show as a district on Fbmd etc.
Can anyone help to narrow my search please?

if you click on the registration distict name on the FreeBmd results page, it gives a list of the parishes within that registration district. Talgarth was in Hay.

Birth cert confirms John & Margaret twins, b. 18 Mar 1842, Talgarth, Brecs.
Mother Esther (Price), father William, Labourer.
