Thomas ROPUS to Harriet MASCALL 25th December 1831 at Bethersden

Is this marriage too early ???

The marriage is also on FreeREG but no other details are mentioned.

Yes as we have Thomas born 1820 this would make him 11. :)

Wasn't Thomas (son of George ROBUS and Charlotte) baptised Cheriton 26 May 1822 http://www.familysearch.org ???  Sorry but I don't see what Cheriton has to do with Mersham?

The "Mersham" Thomas is in the 1861 census at Playden (born c1808 Mersham) with wife Harriett bc1815 Bethersden.  1871 he is at Iden (bc1804 Mersham).

Thomas ROBUSS baptised Mersham 3 Jul 1808 son of Christopher and Sarah (not George and Charlotte).

Well, he appears with his parents (George and Charlotte) in the 1841 census ............... have you found him after this date?  I only ask because there are several Thomas ROBUS deaths between the 1841 and 1851 census in Kent ie.

Hi the Thomas Robus shown as b Mersham and residing at Lock, Iden, Sussex appears to be an Ag Labourer aged 77 Widower with a Daughter Sarah aged 31 b Mersham?

He is the son of George and Charlotte Robus nee Taylor.
Have him ch. 26 May 1822 St Nicholas Ch. Newington Next Hythe Kent ENG
b. 1822 Seabrook Kent ENG

Find him in any census?
? his souse may not be Harriet Webb then?
