HOLMES Baptism Froxfield LDS lookup

Hello

This is now my last attempt to discover the father of a relative.  Edward Albert Holmes born in 1860 to Ann Holmes in Froxfield Wiltshire.  I understand that sometimes the name of the father was written in the actual parish register.

Could anyone help with this line of enquiry?

His baptism is shown on familysearch.org and if his fathers name had been shown in the record it would have been noted.
