Lucy Haniford
« on: Friday 17 February 12 23:11 GMT (UK) »
Hello,
I'm still trecking backwards so.... does anyone have a Lucy or Lucie Hanford or Haniford in their family tree?  Born approx 1678 or thereabouts.
She married Paul Brown in 1698 and they had a son Paul who was born and died 9.03.1701.  They later had another son, also called Paul born 24.01.1713.
Thanks
V:)

Hi

Are you sure she married Paul Brown??

The only Lucie Hanford I can see who married in 1698 married a William Brown not Paul.

William Brown of Eastwood, Blacksmth, bac aged 24 & Lucie Hanford of same aged 23 married at Strelley 13 June 1698 by licence.

I could not find a birth or burial for the 1701 Paul.
There are 2 marriages for a Paul Brown

Oh Lord - thanks everyone - old age is setting in quickly - I meant William married Lucy - not Paul.  I can't seem to find any other info on Lucy.......no baptism or birth records.  Is it still possible to find records for those days or did they not keep them.
