Many Essex Parish Records are available to view on the SEAX site - there is a small charge, but I believe you can sign up for just a day or so.

If the couple had any children after 1837, then the birth cert would be another way of finding Sarah's maiden name.

Yes it looks like Rulton and one of the witnesses was an Edward Rulton. An Edward Rulton married a Susan Pamplin in Sible Hedingham in 1783.
Couldn't see a baptism for Sarah.

Hello Jayby,

I don't know where in the world you are, but there are still Sillitoes and Rultons in the Hedingham area, Mr Sillitoe built our bookcases for us 18 years ago, and his boy did some local carpentry work for us, ( and very good it was) about five years ago, and Doug Rulton has done some plumbing work for us,

Regards,,

Hello Boblima

Thank you its nice to know that the family are still going well in the area after hundreds of years.
I often wonder if we look anything like each other, ?  I know that I have Glaucoma and this has come from the Sillito  family.
thanks again for your interest
