Several weeks ago I could access the 1901 census online and do a name search for free with no problems. I would get a whole list of names and have to go through them to find the person I was looking for.
Now for some reason I cannot even access the name search. Every single search comes up as negative, and I get a request to use the "intelligence person search" instead. I've tried it and I still dont get any results.
Has the 1901 census site changed the free index search to paying customers only? If so when? If not, how can I do a free search and get some results like I used to get.
