Cambridge Burials circa 1915
« on: Saturday 25 February 12 20:21 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I'm looking for help to locate two burial locations in Cambridgeshire. Both died in Chesterton in 1915 and I have the death certificates but I've hit a brick wall after that. One was called Edith Mabel Hall (known as May) aged 27 the other Frederick Hall and he was under 1. They are mother and son so probably (hopefully) together.

Would anyone have any advice as to where to look for this information? Any help is greatly appreciated, I would dearly like to find her.

Thank you!

Hi

Source, Burial Index:
1 May 1915 Edith Mabel Hall aged 27, Chesterton, St Andrew.

Link to the church > http://www.standrews-chesterton.org/

No sign of the youngster in the index, though they are both seen on the Free BMD.

Hope you can get something from this.

Regards
Geoff

I can just add that Edith's address was given as 175 High Street, Chesterton.

Also the burial of Frederick Arthur James Hall aged 9 months was at the same Church 4 February 1915, and also 175 High Street, Chesterton.

I can't see an MI for them.

That's them both. This is wonderful information.

Thank you both very much for your help.

Can I ask where you found this? I'm still quite an amateur at this and there are a couple more I need.

Hi

I always include the source in my replies:

Burial Index and Free BMD...

If you have more, fire away, you'll soon get used to it, but I warn you, it can be addictive  :)
