Annie married Edward Wilkins 1908 Hendon district. In the 1911 census she gives her birthplace as Rhuabere Devonshire. I tried googling Rhuabere but no luck. Can anyone help?

I'm tempted to think Rockbeare or Roborough. HAve you obtained their mariage certificate to see if her father's name & occupation are given?

Annie was born in 1884.

In 1901 and 1891 censuses her place of birth is given as Fremington.

That being the case, I would guess that she meant Rookabear? 1.4 miles from Fremington.

It appears that Annies birth was registered Dec 1883 Barnstaple
