Hello...i seem to remember something about the " LORD STANLEY" having something to do with the Dwerryhouse family...built in Liverpool ?  Sailed the africa west indies uk triangle...? Anyone know?

Certainly sailed form Liverpool, but owned by an Angelsey family?

Thanks KGARRAD..i'm not sure but i had the idea she was built on merseyside...i'm sure you are right about the owners..i've still got this idea she was something to do with the dwerryhouse family..

There's a china plate at the Museum Of Slavery in Liverpool, picture of the Lord Stanley.
Can't see any Dwerryhouse linked, though

A Thomas Dwerryhouse was ship's carpenter on the Lord Stanley!

He has links to John Dwerryhouse of the shipbuilders Dwerryhouse & Co.

(I googled Dwerryhouse and "Lord Stanley"!)
