Restore for the one who came to Canada
« on: Friday 02 March 12 18:41 GMT (UK) »
Hi Chatters,

This is the last one for awhile ... I promise. ;)  ;D

As with the other 2 photos I just posted, I'd like to use the photo in a framed, photographic, multi-generational display along with a wool Shetland blanket sent to this fellow in Canada, so my preference is for b&w without any fancy frame set into the photo restore.

Many thanks for you help.

Need a date for this RM? About 1912 or so.

Just thinking that sepia might be a more contemporary look...b&w hadn't really come in yet.

Cheers,

B&W as that (I think) was what was asked for.

Well that's impressive China! The marriage took place April 1912 in Markinch, Saskatchewan. ;D ;D What indicators narrowed the date so closely for you?

Thank you very much japeflakes & tabsearch/David. All are lovely. All these choices are lovely!

She was a very pretty young woman wasn't she? I haven't got to researching her yet, but as I understand it, she was born in Canada of good Cameron stock from the Fort William area of Inverness.

Thanks again.
