I am looking for [desiring to see] the ship listing of passengers [it once could be viewed at Kew] for those leaving England. The case is: above person, in mid-June, 1912 on the Asconia [sp?]. Canadian listing has him coming into Quebec June 24th.
Is this possible nowadays? If so, how is it done?

The shipping list can be seen on ancestry. Does your local library have ancestry?

www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/index-e.html

go to Passenger lists

the ship is the Ascania, port is Quebec, date 1912/06/24

he is on page 25 of the 44 pages
Eric Wickens, age 39, destination Calgary, Alta (Alberta)
Occupation in country coming from is Inspector and the same occupation listed for Canada

If you are looking for more information, you can have the moderator move this to the Canada board rather than Lookup Requests completed.

Thank you for your help. If your information is from the Canadian records, it is of no help. I've seen that  at the Mormon Church's library. I am looking for the English outgoing list. If that is the one you are referring to, I'll search again.

Thank you for your suggestion. I sent my request as you stated. I am answering you by this method because I have never figured out how one answers a message #1 when one gets 2 messages and only the last one let's you answer.
