Time for some more help...please
« on: Wednesday 07 March 12 20:15 GMT (UK) »
This watch came down through my Grandmothers line....I know little of the family, but would like to find more about the recipient, to see if I could link up with the families, Frost (g/mother...nee Pash) of Cornwell.
I understand the watch was given to persons in some form of secret service?

Would appreciate any information, date of conflict, who is the sovereign?

Thank you, val

Thanks stan, now I have read about Albert 1, off to find out make of watch.

If anyone can advise, do I  open yet another part of it to reveal the maker?
Very tightly closed, so not sure about prizing open.

The face is paper, with 24hr numerals in red within the inner circle.

Will I find any answers from the little medals on the first of my photos?
 Looking forward to any help.
