My name is Claudia Keen and I live in Buenos Aires Argentina, I am the fourth daugther of Henry Keen (1917-1977) son of Philip Pratt Keen ( 1869 -   1925 aprox) and Amelia Duclos.

As I know searching in internet grandfather born in Lichfiel Stafford in 1868, he was the 13 son of Samuel Keen and Fanny Caroline Thornton. The other Samuel's son baptices in your church was, Frank (1859), Emily ( 1860) George (1863) Cornelius (1864-1865)  and my grandfhater PHilip Pratt Keen (1868)

Philip came to Argentina in 1886, and married to Amelia Duclos, they have 6 children, but he die when my father was 8 years old aprox.

I found a card belong to G. H Keen, may be George? where he wrote to someone, introducing my father as his cousin in 1936.

I want to know is this is correct. I dont know if you can help me, but I apreciate an answer.
PS: sorry about my english!!!!

Hiya Claudia
www.freebmd.org.uk has
1847 Keen Samuel to Thornton Fanny Caroline    SOLIHULL (this is a register district in the Midlands , Birmingham area...)
I could not find  George H Keen ...but I did find this ...it is only a shot in the dark , but same Register district office

KEEN George  b dec qtr 1900   Solihull   6d  606

So although 17 years older than your dad  , maybe this George was somehow related ...
as I say - it is only a possibility, ....

I would like to thank you for the replies. They have been most helpful. But I have a question, my g father name was Philip Pratt Keen, he is the only one with the Pratt  surname. I don't know why. Any clues?

I expect that the surname Pratt was common in the area, and maybe a further generation back someone married a Pratt(maybe grandma's maiden name?)
