I have been given information regarding the possibility that Thomas was born in Great Waltham, Essex, in 1779, his parents being Thomas and Susanna. Any more information about this family would be gratefully received.

Many thanks, Sharon. If he is the right one, he married Elizabeth, surname unknown. I would like to think that this could be verified. I will try Ancestry and the Mormon site.

Do you have any idea when he married Elizabeth & where?
Have you found them in any census?

I believe Elizabeth may have been born in Newport Pagnell, and that she and Thomas were married there. Their first child, William Henry, was born there in 1809. From him I have successfully traced my family to myself, and it is bugging me that I am unable to go beyond Thomas!!
