Hi  any one  know  what a  blint  Farmer  is,  as  in

john Marsh of Knalton in the parish of Overton co Blint farmer.

I  have  looked  on  sites  for occupations  and  not  found  anything

Have you got a year/decade for the record;  also where is Knalton/Overton?   

Might yield some clues as to what "blint" is.   :-\

Hi

Knolton  is near  Overton  near  ELlesmere Shropshire.

I searched for John  marsh  and  Halston  on  NA   2171/98  30 December 17

I  also  thought  it  could be john Marsh of Knalton in the parish of Overton co Blint, farmer.  ( note  comma)

can not   find  Blint  on map

Also   can  you   look  at  the  record  for  John mason b  1815    1851  census   for   wem  shropshire,    I  cannot   work out  what  his  occupation states.   Hubby  and myself   now  intrigued.
