British actor of Russian origin

Trying to find the burial place of Alfred Bass (born Abraham Basalinsky (12.04.1916 – 15.07.1987). Born in Bethnal Green, London, the youngest in a Jewish family with ten children; the parents had fled persecution in Russia. His last home was in Well End, a suburb of Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Any advice would be appreciated.

A quick search on the 'net gives the answer that he was cremated and that the location of his ashes is unknown.
