1851 look up please

I am looking for Mary Packer father Thomas, mother Jane in 1851, probably in Chulmleigh. Mary would be about 18. Thanks, Nicky

Have you idea of where Mary was born. It would help with finding her. She could be a servant somewhere and her name transcribed wrongly so it would help tremendously. She isn't living in Chulmleigh by the looks of things. Is she the eldest child??? Is she definately a Parker and not got her mothers surname???

Hi Angela.
Thank you for all that info. Mary was born in West Worlington according to the census. By 1857 she had married Richard Green my 2'xs great grandad. I know her dad was called Thomas from her marriage found in parish reg and I have found a baptism which gives her mum as Jane so I think you have found the right family, would be nice to find Mary as well though so any help would be really appreciated. Sorry Nicky,

                     There is no Mary Packer b. in West Worlington of any age showing on the census. Have tried looking for just Mary born west Worlington but none have the surname of anything like packer. She has ither been mistranscribed, Not entered on the census returns or not in Devon on that particular night.

Thanks for looking for me. I will try to see if someone can find her in 41 then at least I will have a definite for the parents. Theres always an elusive ancestor somewhere who just doesn't want to be found. Thank you anyway, Nicky
