Medal Roll BVR E. Rawlinson

Can anyone please help me out as I am trying to find out about the medal roll of the Buffalo Volunteer Rifles in South Africa and in particular the records of E. Rawlinson who served with them in 1877 - 1878. The reference given to me by the Curator of a Military Museum here in South Africa is WO 100\48
