I am looking for extra information that might be in the parish register re reputed father or witnesses for the following baptisms.

24 Jun 1838 James Fletcher to Elizabeth Fletcher

19 Apr 1840 Louisa Fletcher to Elizabeth Fletcher

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

E Fletcher dau age 40 unmarried char woman born Bishopthorpe
J Fletcher grandson age 12 Newton on Ouse
M Fletcher grandaughter age 8 Clifton
L Fletcher grandaugher age 1 Copmanthorpe

Thanks for replying - Yes this is the right family
Looking for possible father of the children.
Elizabeth has 4 children - none with a father named.  She dies sometime in the 1850's in Copmanthorpe, York as a charwoman.
Census records say she is unmarried.
James' father on his marriage cert is listed as William Fletcher.
Louisa's father on her marriage cert is listed as Joseph Fletcher.
Both these men are more likely to be Elizabeth's brothers - all born Bishopthorpe.

From Genuki, it looks like the Parish Registers are at the Borthwick Institute at York.
