my great great grandfather William Valentine was a gamekeeper at west acre norfolk..
he drowned and was buried DEC. 1858 at around 40years.
is there anyone that has access  to the papers of that time or who could tell me where to look for any info. about his death .
he has a large headstone in west bilney churchyard.
i find this a little odd as there was apparently little or no money in the family for generations.
maybe someone has ideas.
