Looking for information on Charlie John HAWKINS born early 1900 in England,he married Ivy Charlotte Peck born July 18 1901. I know they lived in Sask,Canada and had five children.Trying to trace HAWKINS family tree. Is it possible So many in England!

Possible attestation papers for him in Canada. Quotes DOB as 9 Sep 1896 Shoreditch, occupation farmer, father as C J HAWKINS.

his parents would be Charles John William HAWKINS (c1876 East Barnet, Hertfordshire) and Agnes Emma HOBDAY (birth details same as John). They married June qtr 1894 at Barnet.

They were living in Barnet which is the same location given on the attestation papers. Though young CJ is given as born c1899 maybe he fibbed about his DOB when signing up in 1915?
Siblings would be Dora Elizabeth Emma c1895
Ivy Alice c1901
Henry Claude c1902
Albert Joseph c1905
Vera c1909

Another possibility is the family of Charles (c1876) & Millie/Milly (c1880) HAWKINS. They married June qtr 1900 at Woolwich, (Millie was also nee HAWKINS) and were living in Winnipeg in the 1916 census. In this case Charles Jnr was the eldest child c1900, William c1903, Maude c1905, Doris c1907, Ivy c1909 all born England, and George c1912 Manitoba. The father works at a department store and young Charles at a hardware store.

The Charlie John HAWKINS I'm looking for married Ivy Charlotte Peck from middle sex,this is the only way to confirm I have the right lead on the HAWKINS trail,not sure who his siblings were. I was told that he might have possibly worked for news paper as his occupation back in England but not sure? He passed away in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan ,Canada.I think he had a brother named Harry.

Ok. The marriage was registered June qtr 1919 at Barnet which gives the impression that he was the man from the attestation papers as it is certainly the correct area. Back in a minute with more.

Found the marriage 23 April 1919 at Christ Church, Barnet. Gives his father as CJW and she gives hers as Benjamin PECK. Witnesses were Maude Mary Alice PECK & Thomas POULTON.
