Can anyone tel me if there are any Reids or Stewarts that may be in the line of descendents from Bernard Mackenzie the episcopal minster.


Bernard Reid -married to Jane Stewart, Bernard had a brother Hugh who was christened on the 18th of August 1750, their father appears to be William Reid who also had a brother Hugh, who married Jean Paterson in 1735 in Avoch Ross & Cromarty.
  My query is -  would the above Bernard Reid be related to Bernard MacKenzie who was episcopal minister in Cromarty who died in 1713, or does anyone know where else the name Bernard would have come from.
