Family Tree Maker 2012
« on: Tuesday 27 March 12 14:01 BST (UK) »
Hi all

Anyone using this yet?   I am thinking of updating my very very old version of FTM  (version eleven).  Any comments?

We've just updated from FTM 2005, and all seems to be OK, so far.  Haven't experimented too much yet, but certainly haven't hit any problems.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Thanks BumbleB

I notice that it's on offer at the moment, so I will go for it.

Hi,

I bought it, although I was happy with FTM10, because of the free Ancestry Sub that came with it -and I'm glad I did - initially it was quite glitchy but the recent patches that have been downloaded for it have ironed out all its syncing problems and I think it's amazing  - you must get it!

Hi,

I don't have FTM2012, but I updated from FTM2003 to FTM 2011 and love it after navigating around it, so you will enjoy FTM2012. :D

Cheers

Ordered it yesterday and it was sent out lst class packet post.  Needless to say I haven't received it.  Hopefully it will come tomorrow.  I'm sooooooooo looking forward to playing with it.
