Drenane?
« on: Thursday 29 March 12 16:23 BST (UK) »
Hi  - on a relatives ship manifest it looks like the person is from "Drenane"..... it doesnt seem to be an actual town, so I imagine it is a typo.

Does anyone know what town it could be?

Thank you!!

There are some townlands beginning with 'Dri' as well that might be considered eg Drinan, Drinane, Drinaun. You can see them listed at http://www.thecore.com/seanruad Do you have any idea of county to narrow it down?

Could you give us the person's details so we can check the actual image on Ellis ISland site?
