IF THEY WERE LINKED TO LILIAS DAVIE THINK THEY DID SETTLE IN FALKIRK.
DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO SP BUT IF HAVE ACCESS TO ANCESTRY AND YOUR IN UK LIBARIES HAVE A LINK(LICENCE AGRREMENT)  WITH ANCESTRY WHICH MEANS YOU CAN SEARCH FOR FREE SCOTTISH RECORDS.

Hi Mary  :)

Births around 1917 will not be viewable online(1911 is the latest year available)
Marriages after 1936 are also not online

You could order the certificate from SP(£12) but you would have to be sure it was the correct one  :-\

Looking at the index on SP there is a marriage in 1939 Grangemouth with those names(Davie/Allan)  :-\

Don't think Ancestry will be of much use to you as they don't have Scottish BMD's

Clarence Taylor and Violet Spencer marriage 1945 Falkirk Stirling(again not online)

If you are local you could enquire at your local Registrars about copying down the details of the
marriage certs.(rather than buying them)
I was charged £5 to copy the Info.(last year)
Not sure if you would get 2 for £5 or charged for both
