Hey Heather,

Francis was living in New Brunswick with his wife Ann born 1805 Ireland, along with their son John Cullins born 1828 in New Brunswick.  One thing that's a bit different is John's race is stated as native but Ann and John are both Irish ??

Jeff

From my experience with that census, I would say that 'native' in this case indicates John is born in Canada. Francis and Ann were born in Ireland and thus down as Irish.
