1809 Biddulph marriage from IGI
« on: Tuesday 17 May 05 15:48 BST (UK) »
I have the following info from the IGI.

Marriage of Joseph Bailey in Biddulph on 13th Nov 1809 to an Alice Bailey.

Is that really her maiden name? Or has someone just presumed it was because she became Mrs Bailey.

He was born in Biddulph c 1787 and Alice born c1791.

Would love to know more about their families.

Thanks

Carol

Hi Carol,

I think this Joseph and Alice Bailey may be in family tree also. Would love to hear more from you.

Hello Dave

I'm online now- funnily enough looking into my very confusing Bai(Y)ley tree as we speak.

Do I take it you are after the same family?

They moved to Congleton and eventually ended up in Macclesfield.

Welcome to Rootschat by the way. they're a very helpful bunch here  :D ;D :D ;D

I will PM you later with my email address if you think there might be a connection.

All the best

Carol

Hi,

Yes that's the confusing Bailey family I'm descended from. Am only just starting out, taking over from some research my mother did a few years ago.

Not even sure how to personal message somebody yet... please send your email address so I can send more info.

And thanks for the kind welcome!
David Bailey.
