direction please in Salford
« on: Tuesday 03 April 12 23:27 BST (UK) »
Can anyone tell me where in abouts in Salford was Martha Street. It isn't on Google, so I can only presume that it no longer exists, or possibly it may have been renamed, but I would like to know for curiosity where it used to be please. Thanks

Yep certainly can....I know Martha Street existed in the 1890's and possibly could have done well into the early part of the 1900's.

Martha Street, Salford - Click here - select (for example) the 1908 from the list on the right, click enhanced zoom and zoom in.

Martha Street is also show on Eric Rowland's 1930 map - Click here - Square 3A (south of and running parallel with Regent Road)
