I think that John may have died in 1844 so it may well be just Mary and the children.

Looks like John senior died after 1844, or Mary can't get the ages of the children right.

Margaret is a house servant to farmer John Moss and his wife at Milford in Bideford, no sign of Darcus (?Dorcas), and there are two Elizabeth Mugfords listed.  Both are servants, one in the house of a William Mugford, farmer at Forceswall, Bideford and the other at the house of William Dayman at Sinton, Bideford.  Both born 1833 in Hartland.
