Hi Gazza,
I have a bloke named Charles Greatreex in my GR tree. He's the only one on the entire site too!

Other minority names in my GR tree include: Baserga, Backe, Crall, Ducklow, Foelke (my Nan's maiden name!), Hankanen, Kingley, Louton, Manthei, Manzini, Muscott, Noding, Petrocci, Samaroo, Sheperson, Tollman, Wetnall & Woodyeats.

Ryan.

Some good ones there Ryan.
That is a really unusual name Greatreex. Do you have any idea of it origins?

No idea about it's origins I'm afraid, but I believe it's a variation of 'Greatreax', which is just as uncommon in itself!

Ryan.

Ryan,

My mother-in-law's maiden name is Greatrex so I looked into the meaning and found there are a huge number of spellings.  I think Greatrex is fairly common but don't tell my mum-in-law that  ;D

This site explains the meaning but I thought it's quite disappointing.   :(

Hi,
If I were to believe the LDS website I have a Benny BALCHROS in my tree.  If you search for that surname on google nothing comes up (unless this posting does!).  It was just a very bad transcription of BUTCHERS.
