Long Sutton, possible gypsy connection?

Hi all, this is my first post here.  I've been tracing my family tree for some time, and have had lots of pointers from family members that we have gypsy connections, although I've yet to find any. 

One ancestor I'm struggling with is called Elizabeth (Betsy) Johnson, who was born in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire in approx 1837.

She appears to come from an area called Daniel's Gate.  I just wondered if any could tell me whether they know of any gypsy camps around that part of Lincs and whether there may be any records locally that I could look at?

Hi - thanks Geoff.  Probably should have mentioned that her father's name was Richard, which rules out the one you've found unfortunately.  However, that site looks really useful so have joined it for future use.  Thanks very much.  I also wonder if I could have the Daniel's Gate bit wrong, as the Elizabeth you found may have been the one I looked up on the 1841 census... back to the drawing board I think!
