I watched Cold Comfort Farm the other night with interest as it was filmed at Great Worg Farm Brightling.I was there in the early 40 s ,age 3 with my Grandparents who had been evacuated from London.Grandma had spent her early life in Brightling and although she left there for London in the late 1890 s must have kept in touch.My cousin visited the farm many years ago and was told that the people living there were the Buss family.I went about 8 years ago and met new people who invited us into the kitchen.I think they were doing holiday lets.
I'm interested if anyone knows of any Buss member who may have lived there.
