Death/burial BROOKE c1901/6 *COMPLETED*
« on: Wednesday 11 April 12 23:04 BST (UK) »
I am searching for the death/burial of George Charles Fuller born c1857. He was still alive in the 1901 census, but by the time of his son's marriage at the end of 1906, he is deceased. He lived in Brooke all of his life, but I can find no possible death for him on freeBMD, etc. Can anyone help with this please?

Hi ShannonF,

It's possible George wasn't deceased.
Have you looked at the 1911 census?
In 1901, he is living with an Elizabeth French and her children, at High Green, Brooke, I believe.
The 1911 shows the same, though his age is marked "don't know", and the enumerator has written age "about 50"

There is a possible death entry for a George C Fuller in March quarter 1940, aged 82, which would make him born c 1858 though this is registered in Acle (Ref 4b 128)

Hi Yorkslass,

It had started to dawn on me that he might not have died...thank you so much! Sounds like this must be him..I don't know how I haven't come across this before.

Thank you for your help,

Shannon
