Mary Ann Bath
« on: Friday 13 April 12 17:48 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me please, I am trying to find a marriage for Mary Ann Bath or a death?? She was born around 1854 Blackwood/Bedwellty South Wales and the family were travellers.Mary's father Solomon Bath passed away in 1868. In 1871 she was with her mother Elizabeth and siblings in 30 Lovatt Street Stoke Upon Trent. After this I can't find any trace of neither her nor her mother.

Any help much appreciated.

  ;D

Hi

Given that the family were travellers - Mary could have married anywhere

freebmd has 8 entries for Mary Ann Bath marriages between 1871- March 1881 but you can ignore the following ones

1875 Truro as it is on the IGI and her father was James

1877 Greenwich - father was Thomas

1880  Hackney - father was Stephen

That leaves 5.  You would have to look at the male names on the same page and then look at the 1881 entries for each male to see if Mary Ann was the wife and whether her birthplace/birthyear tallied

Hi

Thanks for your help. I've been doing that and not really had much success.

I'll keep looking maybe i will find her.

I think they settled in Stoke upon Trent after Solomon died. Her brothers married and lived there.

Thanks Again!!
