Looking for Hackett family living in Kilkenny 1800's

children of John Hackett and Marie Kelly

there are more children some went  to America app 1845

Also Mealy Bridget who married into the Hackett family
and any other Mealy members

Full civil registration did not start until 1864 so you would need to search for any available church records for earlier details of your Hackett and Mealy families. To do this you would need to know the denomination of the family and which parish, town or townland the family lived in.

thank you for your reply my families are catholic.
I believe they lived in Borrosikane Tipperary

And yes records started later that is part of my dilemma I am hoping maybe someone on the list sees my post and knows something of the family? A long shot I know
