I'm trying to find info on Doris Irene Bennett b.1912 Wandsworth (parents William Henry Bennett and Grace Keen). I know she married a guy named Sonnie but I don't know his real name. I also know she had two kids, Irene and Roy, but that's all. Anyone able to help?

I think you ll have to have a little play on www.freebmd.co.uk although its not complete.
There is a possible Bennett/Sullivan marriage with possible corresponding childrens births but there may be others.
I see Doris is down as born 22 June 1912 on her fathers Army Pension records , perhaps that could help with a possible death, though we have to be careful that we dont post about possible living persons .

there are four possibles for the london area alone in the 1930's assuming being married age 20ish.

frederick wilson hammersmith 1932
john owner edmonton 1932
arthur bennett hendon 1932
george keen camberwell 1931

the nickname "sonny" has asian origins but also is a term used for "son of" so john senior and john junior for instance.
