Anyone with interest in Banbury watch Pub Dig C5 8 o'clock Tues night =  Rory McGrath and team Paul Blinkhorn from Time Team at the olde Reindeer Inn Parsons St. looking for evidence of burn from Banbury Castle destruction in the civil war - amazing finds = !!

I am sure it will be worth watching, apparently they examine timbers of the pub and find out that it is 100 years older than originally thought, making it Banbury's oldest building - amazing it is still standing as Banbury has managed to successfully pull down and destroy most of the ancient buildings.....
