Hi,

Welcome to Rootschat.   :)

FreeBMD has this death registration:

Stanley A Potter  DecQ 1932   Rochford   4a    695           age given = 6

A copy of the certificate will give date and cause of death.   Are you certain he died in March 1932?

Hi

If there was an inquest it may have been registered after that, I would check with the local Archives to see if they have any records for this there.

Hi Helen,

If you get the death cert to determine the exact date then contact the Essex Chronicle newspaper, there might be a report in the paper.

Regards.

P.S. Someone might be able to suggest a newspaper more local to Rochford.
Concentrating currently on:
Essex: Card, Harris, Stowell, Theobald/Tibbles & Turner.
Norfolk: Beale, Cork & Dalton.
Yorkshire: Oswald Sturdy birth/baptism c1708, Oswald where the devil are you?

Hi,

The Echo covers Rochford but I'm not sure when that newspaper started;  Southend Library might be able to advise you.
