Warwickshire Sucklings??
« on: Wednesday 25 April 12 15:54 BST (UK) »
Does anybody know if the Warwickshire Sucklings are connected to the Norfolk/Suffolk Sucklings, please? From 1841-1911 census info I can trace an Edward Suckling (b.23 10 1813 - Smallbrook) married to an Elizabeth (Caddick?) in Birmingham and their descendants through to Edward Henry (Harry) Suckling but can't seem to find any connection back to Rev Maurice Suckling and his family. Many thanks for any help.

I can at least confirm the Marriage;
09 January 1838, Harborne, Stafford, England
Edward SUCKING, Father WILLIAM Sucking
Elizabeth CADDICK, Father THOMAS Caddick
Both Single
(Source Familysearch.Org)

EDWARD, Birth 23 Nov 1813, Christened 22 May 1815, Birmingham, Warwick;
Siblings;
HENRY, Birth 23 Sept 1817, Christened 15 Nov 1819 same place
ELIZA, Birth 21 Oct 1819, Christened 15 Nov 1819 same place

Those are the only Children I could find.

Possible Marriage for WILLIAM Suckling to Ann KEELING 26 Dec 1808, Aston Juxta, Birmingham, Warwick, England
(IGI Extracted)

Trish :)

Many thanks for swift reply, Trish. That's more or less what I'd found with William married to Ann Keeling as a possibility. From familysearch.org there does appear to be an "isuckling" who has compiled quite an amount but nothing as far as I can see that reaches Warwickshire. Any idea how one might contact fs.o contributors, please? Regards.

Hi
 Just come across your query on the Warwickshire, Sucklings?

I have a chart/Tree for this Suckling family, originally created by my Grandfather back in he 1940's, you are more than welcome to this chart, my family link is through Maud Emily Suckling
