Good morning,
Further to my search for Rose Henry I am now looking for his 2nd wife, previously unknown about. She had been married previously but not sure which is her maiden name and which her 1st married name. They are Oversby and Hunt, 1st marriage not found in NZ search so that was probably in the UK.
2nd marriage to Rose Henry was 1947. a year after his 1st wife died. All info gratefully received, looking forward to hearing from you.

Maude Ellen Louisa Hunt is on the NZ electoral roll in 1935 Prebbleton and listed as married so Hunt was her first husband but I can't see a bloke at that address.

Same details in 1938 still no bloke there.

1928 Maude Ellen Louisa Hunt at 146 Lonsdale Street Married but again no other Hunt at that address.

Albert Hunt, painter and Maude Ellen Louise are on the 1919 electoral roll at Templeton Riccarton. It says Dawson's Road for Maude but just templeton for Albert
I can't see any shipping record for their journey to NZ as yet.

Archives New Zealand (Christchurch Office) hold a Divorce file* for   >>

HUNT - Albert -- Maude Ellen Louisa -- 1935 & 1940

[*Divorce files - in 2 parts, dated 1935 and 1940 ]


This will contain a copy of the marriage certificate (or at least details of the marriage ) and information on any children of the union.
