Nesbitt, Donaghmore, Donegal

Looking to see if I can find any information regards a Nesbitt family that was living in this area in the 1700's. I have a John Nesbitt born 1775. His family was Presbytarian (his father had wanted him to be a minister for the Presbytarian church, and instead became a Methodist minister, entering ministry 1810).

I found a John Nesbitt on the Flax growers list, 1796 (possibly John's father ...?)

Rev John Nesbitt had at least two sons:
1. Thomas (became a Rev. and died young, buried with his father at   St Macartan's Cathedral, Enniskillen, Fermangh)
2. William (who became a Professor, died Belfast)

I am hoping to connect Rev John Nesbitt to Robert Nesbitt, born 1812. Robert married my x4 great grandfather's daughter,Jane Douglas  on 6 December 1839, in Irvinestown, Fermangh. The family is methodist.

I know that being Methodist / presbytarian, records will be hard to find ... so anything you may have could help.

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.
