Probert family in Queensland

While researching Proberts of Tasmania, I have come across a connection to a family in Queensland. The earliest record I can find is 1903 electoral roll Frederick William Probert and Ernest James Probert.  Can anyone tell me whether they were born there or emigrated from UK - probably Wales as it's Welsh name. I've also found Francis Edward Probert and Alex Alber Probert. Any help at all would be much appreciated.

Found Francis Edward Probert born 1886 Queensland - parents Reuben & Mary Ann (nee Kent)

He had a sister, Mildred Marion, born 1889

Obituary in the Nambour Chronicle & North Coast Advertiser (Queensland 28 July 1950) for Frederick William Probert - age 74 from Gloucestershire, England.

1881 UK census ref rg11 2553 23 5 has the following
Reuben Probert 45
Mary Ann 37
Ernest James 8
Frederick William 5
Eliza Jane 4
Infant 7 days( I suspect this child is Herbert William P Probert -birth registration June q 1881 Cirencester-this district covers Edgeworth where the family were living in 1881.)
It looks as though the family went to Australia between 1881/6 as Francis Edward ( parents Reuben/Mary Ann) was born there in 1886. Reuben Probert married Mary Ann Kent in 1868 in Stroud Gloucestershire .Cannot find as yet an Alex Albert Prbert.

Qualified to be on the roll 4th June 1898 (22 years old in 1898, therefore born around 1876).

Believe another son William John Probert born to Reuben and Mary 1884 Gloucestershire. He went on to have a son William John Reuben Probert.
