Rosetta, Daphne & Violet Gardham

These three ladies were my grand-fathers cousins who were all children of Samuel Kenney Gardham (sometimes Samuel Kenneth Gardham) and his wife Elizabeth Ethel O'Kane who married in Dunedin on 28 August 1900.

Rosetta was born in 1901 in Dunedin and died in Auckland, unmarried in 1984.

I have no idea what happened to her sisters though - Violet Elizabeth was born in 1902 and Daphne Hannah in 1905.

Any information about Daphne and Violet would be gratefully received.

I also cannot find Samuel coming over to NZ either.  I think he was a hotel keeper or the like.

Mmm ... not finding any marriage or other records (as yet) for Daphne and Violet.

I notice that there in an Insolvency file held at Archives New Zealand, Auckland office, for Elizabeth Ethel GARDHAM - dated 1924.   

Wonder if mother and younger daughters may have had a change of surname ... or have moved offshore (Australia perhaps) ??

Will have a further look ... electoral rolls etc.

Address 82 Nicholson Street Hodle Fitzroy Victoria. Domestic duties. No indication of marital status but there are no other Gardhams listed.
