Lookup request on Gilbert Raymond Griffiths, 1909

Could someone please help me find the death date of Gilbert Raymond Griffiths, born 1909 in Wolverhampton. I have tried but cant find it. Thanks.

Perhaps he is still alive; or at least died after 2006 when the online deaths stop. Anna

He may have married in 1929 to Violet Hall and re-married in 1947 - both in Warwickshire.  Does that fit with what you know about him?

I have found one in Worcester: Gilbert Griffiths born 30 September 1909 died July 1985 aged 75.  Ref: BMD Worcester 29 662

That's a likely candidate as his birth was registered in the December qtr 1909 which fits with a birth registered from 1st Oct onwards

There was a Gilbert Griffiths birth registered same year/qtr in Gloucs

Worcester is very close to Warwickshire, and so is Gloucester although just a tiny bit further away.
