hi im looking for any help with tracing my dad's family his mum's name was laura daphne stenning
she lived in castle inn castle combe when my dad peter beardon was born in 1945 my dad gt 3 sisters anne and liz but im unable find any info on aunty liz great grandad's name was john spencer stenning great grandma's maiden name was laura hubbard

Google for name of John Spencer Stenning shows a Wikitree hit.
He married Laura Daphne Hubberd and produced a daughter
Laure Daphne Stenning (not dates given)

Did John emigrate to Canada?  There is a funeral notice for a John Spencer Stenning b:26 Mar 1920 d:17 Apr 2005 in Picton Ontario.

Also Familysearch.org shows a John Spencer Stenning b:19 Jul 1890 in Surrey to parents John and Ruth, and a 1911 census showing him living in Gloucestershire (maybe your GGrandfather).
