Selwood St Helier
« on: Thursday 10 May 12 08:58 BST (UK) »
The 1851 census lists James 44 his wife Mary 29 and Elizabeth 1 living in St Helier. The Selwood family is Cornish but I think Elizabeth was born on Jersey but her parents were born in England. Elizabeth is living with relatives in the 1861 census in Cornwall.
I would love to have some birth info on Elizabeth

Thank you for that info most of which I have although I had not realised that Rowe William was James stepson. This could mean that his wife Marys maiden name was Rowe

I posted the information, in case others wanted to help in the search! ;D

I'm not sure what information the birth/baptism would give you that you don't have already?
It will only tell you the parents names?
